cars, but I know great design when I see it and that’s how my newest
collection was born,” says fashion designer Isaac Mizrahi. He was so
enamored with the all-new completely redesigned 2013 Chevy Malibu that
it became the inspiration — the muse — for his new Malibu Collection.

How do you power a battery without charging it? It’s simple: Just
drive and in certain scenarios the lithium-ion battery stores energy to
keep charged. That energy is later used to deliver an electric boost to
the engine during heavy acceleration or climbing a grade. And while the
vehicle is at a stop, the engine shuts off and the battery-powered
motor-generator unit powers accessories, preserving fuel so it can be
used later†.
